Warm hearted, enthusiastic, exuberant and funny... Just some of the words to describe the talented chef Rachel Green. Hailing from a family with 14 generations of farming means that food production is in Rachel's blood but she has a ton of other strings to her bow too. From television and publishing to demonstrations and food styling, what Rachel doesn't know about food from all levels just isn't worth knowing. And it's this level of passion and knowledge that have made her a committed ambassador of British food which is acknowledged by many in the food industry.
Rachel has often been seen on our screens contributing to many television shows including most recently Sunday Brunch, The Lincolnshire Kitchen Xmas Specials, CBBC Disaster Chefs, Jimmy & The Giant Supermarket as well as The One Show and Market Kitchen and Kill it, Cook It, Eat It. She also loves radio contributing to BBC Shows around the regions.
Rachel's demonstrates across the whole of the UK at food fairs and exhibitions which include BBC Good Food Show, CLA Game Fair, Derbyshire Food & Drink, Taste of Lincolnshire and many more. When cooking, her enjoyment shines through and really speaks to the audience. It's this amongst many other attributes that has seen her win a CLA Award for Outstanding Contribution and Achievement to British Food.
PR Campaigns have included Yes Peas! British Asparagus, Great British Carrotsand Chantenay. She has also been involved with Taste of Scotland and the Seafish Authority and was the spokesperson for Seafood Fortnight on behalf of Waitrose.
Rachel has published two books, Rachel Green's Chatsworth Cookery book and Sausages, Making the most of the Great British Sausage.
With a thriving catering business during her career, Rachel has also cooked for dignitaries and celebrities alike from HRH The Queen to Sade and The Scottish Rugby Union.
