  • Cogglesford Watermill

    Cogglesford Watermilll, dating back to Saxon times, is thought to be the only Sherriff's watermill still in operation in England. The Mill lies in a picturesque setting on the River Slea in the historic market town of Sleaford, Lincolnshire, close to the town centre and all its amenities. They hold regular milling days on the second sunday of the month where visitors will be able to watch the waterwheel rumble in to action turning the grind stones to make flour.

  • Donna Nook National Nature Reserve

    Donna Nook National Nature Reserve covers more than 10 km (6.25 miles) of coastline of beach, sand dunes, inter-tidal areas, saltmarsh and open lagoons. The reserve is rich in bird life including many breeding species as well as more uncommon passage migrants and rarities; over 250 species have been recorded. However, it is for the population of grey seals that it has become famous.
