The BEST WESTERN North Shore Hotel and Golf Course has been for many years the choice of golfers looking for a great value golf break. The course itself is 18 holes, part parkland part links. Designed by the late James Braid, himself being an accomplished golfer winning the British open no less than five times in 1901, 1905, 1906, 1908 and 1910.

The 34 bedrooms comprise of singles, twins, doubles and family rooms. All are en-suite with TV, direct dial telephones, tea and coffee making facilities and free WIFI internet connection.

Many of the rooms have spectacular views across the sea and golf course.

The on site James' Restaurant, open to non residents, has views across the sea and offers a comprehensive and varied menu that suits all tastes, together with a very popular Sunday lunch carvery.

The James Braid bar is open daily offering a wide range of freshly prepared bar food, together with a wide range of wines, spirits, lagers and draft traditional local ales. An ideal place to relax and watch those concentrating on the greens outside.
